My boat is loud. If I am yelling it is almost always becuase I have learned that if I don't yell it is because I know the next words out of your mouth is going to be, "Huh"?
Don't be afraid to try new things on my boat. I have a few pattern rules. naked on the right flat. When tuna fishing the spreaders will be on the short riggers. other then that, have at it. I always like to see what folks will do, that I wouldn't do. That is the only way i will ever learn if something else will work on my boat.

When I say it is getting too sporty and it's time pick them up, don't give me a hard timing or whine and cry at my decision to quit fishing. I want to fish more than anyone on the boat, but have got my ass whooped too many times by staying out when the seas were building, only to white knuckle it home for 4 hrs on a normal 2 hour ride. Don't tell me the seas aren't all that bad in my own boat and on my own home waters--- and if it turns out I was wrong and lays down later--- don't even say " I told you so".
Oh yea, if you must bring lite beer aboard, drink your own crap not my Coronas

1: on my boat, number 1 is have fun!!! lots of time we have the stereo on, beer on board, chicks in bikinis, etc. Im out there to have fun. I do enough serious fishing. . . on the legasea its fun time. have a problem with that??? want to yell, scream, piss and moan. . .dont bother coming on the trip.
2: BE SAFE. thats when you see me getting upset. . . when people do stupid stuff on board. Im the only one who is allowed to hang off the transom by my left sandle strap to gaff the free-swimmer.
3: You got lures???? BRING EM!!!! Im not too proud and will run your stuff and try your ideas. . .if they look like shit and are rust colored with 3 year old leader. . . they get thrown overboard.
4: BYOB. . . and BMB(bring me beer)
5: Sleep at your own risk. . . im not goin into the cabin to wake you up when the bite turns on. . .
6: If you want to leader/gaff. . .step up to bat and show me you know what your doin. . .timidly putting on the gloves. . ."where is that gatt, whait i mean gaff right?" doesnt fly, just say I got it and do it.
7: Offer to help wherever possible

ohh yea, i have harnesses on board. if the fish is under a certain weight and you ask for a back brace. . . be prepared to take some shit. thats just the way it is. . .ask SALLY, i dont think he has lived it down yet. . . LOL

Pretty simple, really. DON'T LEAN ON THE COCKPIT STEERING STATION OR TOUCH THE CONTROLS! Oh, and don't block the pilothouse door. Keep the 'pit clear and try to remember the bar count for the spread so I don't have to do everything. If my sister can remember and jump in to re-set the lines so can you.

3. Arrive at the Dock ON TIME...that means in time to stow your sh*t so we can depart at the time given.
4. Fishing expensive and I'm not rich...be prepared to pay your part of the expenses
5. This one's NOT going to be popular...but here it is......My boat is NOT a charter boat. If you want to make yourself comfy in the AC sitting on the salon sofa or chairs bring a clean change of clothes for the ride home or wear your grundens while fishing....Tuna blood does not come out of ANYTHING!!..... especially upholstery! I do cover ALL the furniture when we fish. I'm NOT MR. CLEAN, just be respectful.
6. Stick around and help clean the boat, fish, tackle, etc.
7. I am a Rookie at this game, please teach me something about how YOU rig a bait, run a spread, ANYTHING......
