roughing it !!

we've been roughing it since early saturday morning,lost power @ 4:am...had a tree fall on our service line to the house...not good for us
we have a small 1000w honda generator,that got put into service to run the refrigerator,and a light...we have a well-so,no water we got a nice woodstove,so,we had heat...
we made water on the stove by melting snow...no wonder those old guys didn't live long...jesus h christ,man,that was some serious work..." make the water,fuel up the generator,stack the firewood"..."
atlantic city electric told us "friday,mabey"...cable company swing by and set us up,yesterday,ran another generator,fired up the big screen !!

well.....today the electric company woke us up early this morning,working on the service line !! these cats hooked us up in about an hour !! we got power,we got water !!! life is friggin' good !!

now,we gotta take a ride over to my house,i had it winterized a few months ago,gotta make sure everything's ok there !!

salon has power back on,power was restored in north wildwood last nite...

man,we been roughin' it !!

During an ice strom we had about 8 years ago, we roughed it for 5 days with no power. That was a tough one.
