back to the slopes, too cold to fish here, have some trips planned for Killington this month and Jay Peak in February![]()
Because it's too cold to put the boat in the water
It's great fun and I love it. My kids are now into it and that is fun, skiing down the mountain with your entire family!
I proposed to my wife while skiing the glacier at the base of the Matterhorn on the 4th of July. Yeah, I love skiing!
I will have you know that I am a fine skier. But have not skied in many years prior to nico asking to go sking about 6 years ago. Dove Hunt made the best suggestion ever. He said buy him a group lesson and let a pro teach him the basics. otherwise you two will fight while teaching and learning and no one will have fun. A couple hours later and nico and I were doing some serious damage. The Dipsy Doodle at liberty was being terrorized by the pino clan.
Have been on the slopes twice Sunday River and Killington. Sunday River it rained half of the day and Killington it snowed all day.
One more trip scheduled for Okemo on the 14th and then its off to Florida and the Carribean.
I'll make it up to Killington sometime this winter. My sister had a place up there the past few years and finally moved up there last year. They hated leaving there on Sundays, just like we hate leaving the boat in the summer.
Anyway, the price is right.
I haven't been to the Catskills in several years even though it's only a 2 hour ride for me. I can handle Hunter no problem, but there are too many a-holes that make it family unfriendly. Windham is a better family crowd.
I'm only 12 miles from Mountain Creek, but have to be pretty desperate to go there.
