I had mentioned before how I overcame the mounting of a camera dilemma on my boat. I had an old rod butt laying around and it got me thinkiung. I had seen clamp on camera mounts on line before and had considered putting a few around the place. Putting just one on this rod butt though allows me to move the camera to different places with ease or even hold it my self... Capt Brian asked to see a shot or two so here it is...

The part I added to rod butt was for rail mount but on the butt it has a lot more mobility. I can put it in one of the two tiers in the tower on the towr leg. Get a gunwale view. Even set it in the chair...
