    rocket launchers

I had a radar arch made and the guy that made it to save a few $$$ which was fine w/ me used regular alum pipe for the rocket launchers, he said there was a company that made a liner just for that purpose but he couldn't remember the name of the company, this stuff he said came in diff. colors and it was also in a roll, so you cut off what you needed and slid it inside the pipe then you kept out like 2" or so and rolled that down over the outside of the pipe, I have looked and looked and can't find it, does anyone have a clue?
    thanks in advance

Depending on the size of the Aluminum Pipe, you may be able to get by with PVC pipe as the liner - It will protect the butts of your rods at least.

If that won't work - look here, http://www.tacomarine.com/cat--Rod-H...liners_rh.html

Fish tales, here's a link to some. Probably best to order them through the store with your measurements so you know they are the right fit. Tony's marine might also have some options if you stop in there.

Hubris - No idea why you're guessing at company names here. Every rod holder I've seen come out of Heritage has been high quality. I've seen a dozen of their towers and haven't seen one with straight pipe for launchers. They do a lot of custom work so I suspect if a customer asked how they could save money, they would offer alternatives and probably make it look good as well. I've seen nothing but great people and great products over there.

    i'm not guessing,

personal experience. good luck finding liners for 1 1/2 inch pipe. tony's doesnt have it. because it doesnt exist. it is what it is. after three tops, all built crooked, and removed from the boat. oh and i paid for the damage done to the fiberglass myself. i had C&C build mine. charlie does nice work. thank's.
