i was shocked when i heard the news tonite, its a shame all the good things he did with his money in our country and other countries, plus he was a musical genius of his time all people will remember are the bad things that he was accused of.

He was never convicted of anything first of all, and he donated millions of dollars to feeding the hungry in Ethiopia. Remember the whole "We are the World" movement? He brought joy to millions of people with music for over 40 years worldwide. That sounds like a humanitarian to me.

Not worth arguing over this, but if they can convicted hundreds of thousands of people for child molestation all over the world....why not him if he's guilty? With all the allegations and whatnot, something would have happened. Your opinion is your opinion, but what about the other 45 years of music, donations, charities, etc?
