RIP Ellie

What a sad day today at the Farm. All to often people talk about their pets and animals being like their kids. My wife Jen had rescued a horse a few years ago that would have most defintely lived a vagabond life and probably ended up as dogfood had she not taken her in. She loved her and trained her into a decent little event pony. Last week she took ill with a thyroid attack and yesterday took a turn for the worse. We took her to the vet where she could be put on IV. This morning she looked a little better. Jen came home to get me so we could go have dinner at the barn and got the call before we left. Ellie had a seizure and died late this afternoon.

Very sorry Bill between my sister & brother inlaws all have horses and ride and the kids every weekend so i know how you feel again very sad

losing animals is always a tough thing, they become such a part of our lives . my deepest sypathies to you and your family bill.

Bill, We lost a couple horses and its hard to get over just like any other pet because they become one of the family.

Just remember that you gave it possibly a few more years than it might have had otherwise and most likely a better life too!!
