I will be spending a week or so in Rincon,Puerto Rico in February and I'm hoping to do some fishing. The town's web site lists a "Makaira Fishing Charters " company. Has anyone out there used this outfit or can shed some light on their operation?

i'll try to get some intel and let you know...where are they based...there isn't a marina in rincon.......or you can check out these guys....they are about an hour from rincon.....

I lived in Rincon for a while. It was a long time ago, though. Whenever we wanted to go fishing we would bum a ride out with the dive charters and troll out to Desecheo. Usually didn't catch much, but it was a change of pace from free dive spear fishing. Usually some groupers, jacks, the occasional dolphin, and macs. The little marina south of Rincon didn't have any charter boats from what I recall. That may have changed though.
