Do you still think that Exxon did not pay taxes? I bet you agree they did. You based your opinion on a guy who looked at a tax return and made a claim that was wrong because he is not an accountant and did not think to look for an over payment in a previous year.

Boy you can open up a can of worm! You think that is all the election is about ? Capitalism is under attack . Profits are a sin. The seeds are being planted for the redistribution of wealth in this country. Socialistic radical reform is knocking on the door. This president is anti-business. What is being done about the defecit, he is the leader after all. Job creation, Welfare reform, Imigration reform.The economy, I could go on forever because it is about a lot more than taxes. Liberty as we know it is being underminded. China owns us.

Do you know how many meetings this president has had in the last six months with his job council? Zero! Do you know how many fundraisers he has had in the last six months? Over eighty! Do you think that is fair to the people that do not have jobs? Do you know that he has had more fund raisers that the last four presidents put together? Do you know how many golf rounds he has played? Not one of us could run a business and play golf this president has. I could go on and on and on but hopefully you get the idea.

There are dozens of my neighbors who lost their jobs and some to many who lost their homes because they lost their jobs and they lost their jobs because of the downturn and the downturn was the directly result of the rich's excesses, particularly those of the banks.

Here's what I see. Right now we have the lowest tax rates we have had in my lifetime. We have one candidate who says he will lower taxes, though he cannot seem to come up with any cutbacks in spending to offset these tax cuts, nevermind addressing the deficit. The other candidate wants to raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans to a level slightly BELOW where they were during the Reagan years.

Neither one is doing anywhere enough to address the deficit because the kind of fiscal restraint needed for that would piss off too many voters to get elected.

Yeah, I do think this is pretty much what the election is about.
