RFA Plans march on Washington

"DC Rally" | OIFC World Cat / Carolina Cat | 01/27/10


I have been getting quite a bit of interest from fishermen who want to know more about the DC trip. The plan is to leave the OIFC at 4am on Weds, Feb 24th and drive to DC on a 50 passenger coach bus. Visit the rally and show support, add our 2 cents where needed. We then leave around 3pm and should be back late PM, same day. The OIFC is sponsoring the bus ride, the first 50 who commit will be at no cost. The bus will make stops for meals, which are your only financial responsibility. Currently I have 10 committed and there are more on the way- first come, first serve. If you want to commit, EMAIL at captbrant@oifc.com me with your name and phone # and I will put you on the list.

Also, I am working on getting a letter drafted that we can all send to our elected officials. Stand by for that.

Randy McCkinley (HillTop Grocery)Is organizing a bus out of the Hampstead / Wilmington area For all fishermen.
In order to get the Bus he needs around 35 to 47 people
to sign up. Randy said he has around 15 to 18 so far.
