    Resizing pics

    All the pics I take with my camera are too big when I post them. How do I resize pics on my PC.

    It said my picture's original dimensions were too big.

    John what setting are you taking pics at?If you plan on posting or emailing in the future set your camera to vga.As for the ones you have I don't know sorry.

    dowload irfan view and run them through there.

    You can convert them to a jpeg file which will help them load faster

    This is what I use and the pictures can be anysize and made into anysize.

    You can upload them to photobucket at any size and it will not only automatically resize them; but, it will give you a link to use where people can click on and download (good if you have friends on dial up), or you can use the IMG code it also provides to post pics, etc.

    If you're using MS Windows, open the photo using Paint program-it's in Accessories.

    Now go to Image on toolbar, click Stretch/Skew. It will give you option to change vertical and horizontal dimensions from 100% to whatever size you want.

    After that hit SAVE AS, and give it a different name from original size photo. You can also save it in different formats.

    It ain't zackly rocket surgery!
