I've been thinking of repowering from the 425 hp VT 903 cummins i have to 450 C'S there would be a signifigant wieght difference and i would gain alot more engine room space plus less fuel burn possibly some speed. My boat is a 46 Egg Harbor 44,000 lbs i would love to hear some input from some guys on what they think i'm 19.5-20.5 kt cruise and 24 kt top end now i'd like to be 21-22 kt cruise with a repower. Franky or some of you other guys let me hear some feed back on this.
