    Reel Seat Repair

I have an older version Penn Senator that the reel seat flops to one side. Nyone have a good idea how to make the repair without going to a Rod shop. I can't figure out how to separate the seat from the handle. Thanks in advance. Bill

Mannysmate is right on. drill a couple holes thru the seat, being careful not to go into the blank and inject slow cure 2 part epoxy into the holes. Make sure you get enough in there and then stand the rod up straight while it cures, you should be good to go.
