I worked with a guy that had a cabin in the back hills of West Virginia. Had a small stream in his back yard. 10 or so of us would go up there and it was bring what u got. some of the guns those guys had...whew...we would stay 4 days and fill 5 gallon buckets with the spent casings

I was lucky enough to be invited to one of those Machine gun shoots up north a few years back .

The Highlight for me was shooting a vintage Gattling gun firing 50 CAL'S

There were more FDA officers and other undercover folks present and a local female news reporter firing away like they were in candy stores

The next day they aired in a local paper how immoral it was to have these kind of events

well out came the digital photo's that showed all these fine folks and the story got quickly retracted

But dam that looked so fun, i wish i could pull the trigger and go to town!!!!! Probably wouldnt care if i hit anything either.

I'm game but whose buyin' the cartridges. There is a place in Athens GA where you fellas can go and do this all day long. The store is called The Firing Lane www.firinglane.com I 've been there and its awesome. You can actually purchase if you have the right permits. (Which I think are hard as hell to get)
