Many, many, many, years ago boys and girls, before lino type and photo type way before "Microsoft Word" we used to set type by hand 1 letter at a time. The type was set upside down but still reading left to right. If you were able to hand set type you were able to read upside down. Don't ask me what if anything that has to do with this. Just a brain fart I guess.
