truck packed with gear and alarm goes off at 2:10a so I can drive to NY. She rolls over confused and says, "But I thought you said you wouldn't go?" I followed that up with - "And you promptly said, NO NO just go. So I'm going." Long and the short of it - I'm an asshole and didn't go. 14 yellows, 2 over 100#. 14 albies, 1 mahi. 1 loser. Went to wedding. Wife hammered. Killed half a handle of Captain, a few red bulls and vodkas, and whatever beer got in my way. Passed out by two, on the road by 6:30, in DE by 12:30, set up in deer stand by 3.

My buddy here in DE went 7 for 8 on yellows over 100#. That made me feel better. I've pretty much re-written the rulebook - bullshit events are getting weeded out.

I suck. She owe's me and knows it.

P.S. I logged on earlier today, but didn't have time to get into it because I had an appointment. And Whitey, you were right, the bite turned on right after the full moon.

What's this appointment thing, you can't actually get us to believe that a county employee does work. Or was your appointment downstairs drinking w/ the building code crew.

We need to catch up on the deer situation. Shoot me an e-mail, You can actually get ahold of me unlike our mutual friend. Several arrows thrown at the 20 plus deer real close to your house, we may need more people to cover all areas of the field.

Thanks for listening, errr.... I mean, reading. It feels good to get that kind of stuff off my chest, and I'm always appreciative of opinions from my peers. I think there was a little sh*% talking going on, but who knows. I always say that I just call balls and strikes - this time, I struck out completely, so I've gotta be honest about it.

SEVERAL arrows??? That must mean SEVERAL deer down, I hope... I flung SEVERAL arrows at one point in my short bowhunting history. Then I practiced. I've got a stand in the backyard that I use for practice. I think John's brother and whoever else (you?) needs to come over and sight in from 16' up. It takes the guesswork out of aiming a little lower due to elev. When I first started bowhunting, I actually flicked 4 over the same deer in one afternoon before I sighted in from above.

I just had a few behind the house this morning - Gus was flipping out at 5:15 getting ready to clear em out and I could still hear limbs and leaves rustling at 5:45. That means the pressure's on from the neighbors. There was a piebald back there.
