    Cool Racoon Recipies???

Just heard a noise outside my office window. And looked to see two racoons having a tug of war with the swordfish bill I had drying from the other night! A lot of things I'll forgive animals for. Taking a dump on the lawn, Digging in the flower beds, even knocking a trash can over. I will not forgive eating my hard earned trophies!!!

So with that said, I'm knockin some beat up broadhead cause I don't want to waste a good one... Rocky Racoon is deep on my shit list!

Now. As a good killer of things, I always follow my pappy's advice. "You kill it , you grill it!" So I'm lookin for coon recipies before I doink the ring tailed skunks!

Deep - rub some Cayanne on the bill and they will leave it alone. Or (God's honest truth) put out a bowl of beer. Coons love beer and they will drink every last ounce. They also get drunk real easily. So they will either pass out on the lawn or start playing with the sword. If your luck they will impale eachother with the sword.

They completely tore it apart. Like sword jerkey. Probably have heart attacks from High blood pressure as I dip all the meaty parts in salt to help spped drying and prevent rotting...
Been pretty lucky for a long time with no pest problems. Wildest one was a few years back. I was hanging a big set of mako jaws from a wire off a tree limb because I knew the coons had been around thick. I woke one night to this blood curdling screeching and screaming. Twice as bad as any cat fight. Flipped on the light and there was fur and blood all over the jaws, ground and even hairs just floating down! Never saw the final product but it had to be ugly...

I'll try the Cayanne. Earnhardt used to sprinkle tobasco around the fish cleaning house and near the grills to keep flies away. It worked...

ive got an old black wino fella, curt, on the outskirts of town that will eat anything you leave on his picnic table. he feeds his whole neighborhood with the does we take him when we have a doe cull day out at the camp. i have filled the livewell of my boat up many times with flathead catfish.....he will unload them and carry them right into the house to clean. never taken him coons but others have......he nails the feet to a board on his shed....kinda like his trophy room, i guess. i filled the bed of my S-10 up with geese one time and dropped them off on new years eve to him while him and his buddies were gettin their budweiser drunk on.....feathers were flying as i pulled out of the driveway .
