it amazes me that parents (adults) would punish a team/child for being too good. What kind of lesson does that teach

I agree..........what a bunch of babies! What lesson does this teach this kid! Punishment if you excel at something!![]()
are these people serious? Wouldn't you want your child to excel in the things he is good at? Doesn't make much sense to me
That's just pitiful. It's people like that who complain to the school board that their fat ass kid shouldn't have to do gym because the other kids keep making fun of him....well....take the soda and ho hos out of his hands and make him get better at something for once, and then maybe he'd be able to do more than one lap around the court and would gain some self respect....
I know, the next time I go out and get skunked fishing I'm going to complain to the government because it isn't fair that I didn't catch anything.
I shouldn't have to get better in order to compete in the next tournament either, instead they should kick out the good boats...that makes sense.![]()
That just sucks!!!
That's a crock of $hit right there...so because the league presidents sponsered team cant hit off the kid and is in second place...they are going to give the kid the boot?
When assholes and lawyers get together this is what you end up with.
The only good news is the national embarassment the legue is getting.

Its a bunch of wimpy parents who want to take competetiveness out of kids. You don't just play the game you play the game to win and so many parents don't see it that way.
why don't the other palyers step up and improve their hitting game?!?!?makes for a positive challenge. it really sends a message though, that the effort it takes to do something in the manner in which it is supposed to be done, doesn't really matter.
this isn't something new however. it reminds me of when my dad told me he used to get benched for hitting too many baskets when he played. and this was back in the 50's.
funny how history has a way of coming back around. aren't we over due for the 70's again???![]()
