    Angry At The Pump... WTF???

I filled the rolling tackle box yesterday at a station near the room of death... I paid $1.66 a gallon... I know I did cause I just checked my receipt... When I was driving past there today I saw $1.83...

I thought to myself thats gotta be a mistake... Driving through the day I noticed everyone was up close to 20 cents in one day! Checked and saw that crude is $40 a barrel... I remember as a kid it had a big swing during the early eighties fuel crunch and we saw $50 a barrel way back then and the gas shot up to $1.24... So tell me how at $10 less a barrel I'm paying 60+ cents more?

Tell me how it is that in the time it took to go back out a few minutes ago for a tripple whopper and vanilla shake that it went up another 6 cents!!!! and the station just down the street is aready up to $2.09 ????

WHat the hell? The blood sucking vampreys sucked the money out of the world to the brink of world wide depression and they're gonna make sure they finish the job???

Looks like I'm gonna dust off the Schwinn tackle box...

Oil popped to $50 a barrell briefly this week, I noticed they wasted no time in jacking up the pump price accordingly.

It jumps 10 cents at the mention of any bull$hit excuse. However as crude is dropping to 38 bucks it falls a penny a week.

As soon as people see the rising prices they hurry to fill up cheap, that puts a run on supply, demand goes up and the price follows.
There is plenty of gas, we should try to limit ourselves to 10 gallons at a time to keep the demand low. my $.02

Self-Employed, DONT DO IT, YOU'LL PAY!
crude is falling (except for the $50 spike) but the war is raging (no not ours, but the west bank) and no industry likes instability.

Secondly, they charge it because we will pay it! Can't blame them for that, I do the same in my business. You don't???

Oh the marinas here are still open and thats about what they are here......
    $2.94 + tax for diesel....
    $3.31 for gas....
Seems like price fixing to me that all the marinas call daily to each other and make sure nobody is dropping price... Twenty miles to the south its about 75 cents cheaper on gas at least...

Talking to the marina owner as to why?
"Oh I have to make $1.25 a gallon tp make it worth my while..."
"You didn't make $1.25 a gallon when it WAS $1.25 a gallon just a couple years ago... And now it doesn't matter what you charge cause you are not gonna sell shit..."

People have been driving big boats to private houses and having the trucks come and fill them direct... Enterprising guys "hauling" smaller boats onto trailers and taking to the gas stations to fill up...
