    Prayers to you, your father, and your family.

    Let me take a moment to tell you about my friend Kevin. Kevin was diagnosed with the same cancer as your father. Just like your Dad he was out enjoying time on the water. The cancer was discovered after a RAPIDLY and i do mean rapidly growing tumor appeared behind his eye. After the surgery, they gave Kevin (mid 50's, wife, 2 daughters) the EXACT same time frame 6-12 weeks.

    This was over a year and a half ago.

    At that time, some of you may remember that I posted up here asking for prayers for him and his family.

    Well let me tell you something...Kevin boated a 90 lb. BFT 3 weeks ago with our other friend Gary. Kevin's cancer has receeded (for lack of a better word). The doctors now have given him upwards of 6 years.

    I don't know if this puts you at ease, but...medical technology today is amazing.

    Don't lose hope my friend, enjoy spending time with you Dad. Little bit of hope, prayers, and strength goes a long way. Stay strong bud.
