Pranks, Jokes, and dock wars between fishermen.

One of the most fun you can have on the docks with your dock partners or charters. Little pranks can boost the commoradory around the dock and every place has them. Also any jokes you have seen on charters or done to charters share them with us. I got this idea from posting on the "food others are disgusted by" thread and not wanting to hijack it I'll post it hare to get it started

One of the best ways I have found to mess with customers on a charter boat. First thing in the morning I throw a can of sardines in mustard in the fish box. After the first fish weather it be a dolphin, tuna, wahoo whatever when I go in to get my hook out I'll grab a couple in my hand and walk around show them to the customers just move quick enough they cant identify them. Then I'll quietly walk back over to the corner or a spot to lean against the box pick one up and smell it, with out looking at anyone just shrug your shoulders and eat it, look around "not bad" and go about my business. Best way to break the ice and set the pace for the day with a new group of guys. Be careful it can cause some to gewt seasick.

Put bananas all over their boat and dock on a lay day of a tournament. Be careful though they might call the police on you.

I like shortening their stern dock lines by 3 inches when their out. Ha!

I have done that once or twice it is a good one but you have to be careful who you do it to. at the end of a bad day of fishing they get in and cant get the boat tied up its not good...captains yelling at the mate, mate is yelling at the captain... sometimes it does not look good for business infront of the customers, but it is funny as ****.

Problem...Lazy deckhand on 3 day charter wont get up after being told...

Solution #1...Take the next atlantic sharpnose caught and duct tape its mouth shut and pitch it in his bunk He will wake right up

The third and final solution...This works every time!

If his dumb a$$ is still not convinced take a 5 gallon bucket with about 75 feet of rope(depending on vessel size and layout)and attatch one end with a bolan to said bucket and I prefer a noose for ole' sleepyheads foot made from a 3 turn uni. The prefered speed for maximum effectiveness is about 8 knots.

After that he will either quit or be the first one up

    Mike
