    That's a good question?

Question Power Pro to Flourocarbon Knot???

What's your best/favorite knot for joining a Flourocarcon leader to Power Pro? Let's say 50# Power Pro to 12# Flouro?

Check out the link that Bill (Squidnation) just posted. It's a video that I made a few weeks ago to do just what you're talking about.

It's interesting, but I'm KNOT sure I like the way the finished product looks.

Tying the braid that way at the end could possibly cause it to cut itself.

I will definately try it though.

Uni to Uni would work and is a strong and easy to tie knot.

I use a uni to uni or an albright knot. I use the uni to uni when tieing very heavy lines together and I double the braid first with a spider hitch or Bimini. The uni knot is bigger and sometimes gets stuck in the guides but it has never failed me. Albrights have failed on me a few times. I have read some very good things about a knot that is a variation on an Albright called a Yucatan knot. Supposedly it has the highest breaking strength by percentage of the lines breaking strength.

uni to uni is what I have used for several years. Very reliable.

Squids knot also seems to work very well. I have tried it at home with a couple size lines andtried to pull it apart. It is sound.

Uni to Uni is what I use. I used to use an albright but I seemed to screw it up more often than knot.
