    Power Jigs (Butterfly)

Has anybody had any experience with these new jigs from Japan. They are suppose to work at depths of up to 500 ft on tuna. Shimano is promoting them bigtime at the following website.

    got to be crazy!

The $ on these "works of art" is unreal! $15 - 25 for a hunk of finely finished metal is a lot more than I can pay. They look beautiful and catch fish, no doubt, but stingsilvers are 2 bucks at walmart and kevlar tied gama hooks are a buck a piece! These things will soon get knocked off and come down to earth where they belong. Then and only then I may feed them to the fishes!

Check with weekender he bought some the other week and I know he made some of his own also. He has seen them up close and personal but I'am not sure if he has used them yet. He bought them for grouper fishing.

I totally agree! They are way to pricey just to get bit off by some toothy critters! I'll wait till they come down in price also!

    Paul,
Speaking of Seabass! Can you make it tomorrow? We're dropping the Contender back in today for the trial run and if all goes well we'll be taking both boats out for the Seabass! Let me know.
