I may have not been clear. I don't want Teddy to get a walk on his deeds or to not be discussed. I just think it is proper to wait until after the funeral. Let his family and supporters bury him in peace. He will still be judged for his deeds on the internet and the press and probably 10,000 books titled the Life and Times of Ted Kennedy. I have no problem with what is said about him after tomorrow.

Perhaps a man's 46 years devoted service to our counrty, convictions in promoting causes he truely believed in, and the steward of many international diplomatic deals cuts to protect our freedoms don't count in the truth.

I doubt there is a person who reads this board that supported Kennedy's political views, but IMO respect for his service to our Country in the form of at least abstaining from personal attacks on the eve of his death, is not too much to ask from any red blooded American.

Devoted service to our country....that's what you're calling it? Whatever......if he had brought me some of that moonshine that his pappy made his money on I might have given him a pass.

Sorry I ran out of space for chapaquidick? remember mary joe kopechnee that he left to die after he drove the car off the bridge? She didnt drown? She was in the car trapped breathing air ti the good air was breathed up! All while teddy was in a stupor! He served not a day or charged with nothing! It sure must be nice not to be one of the little people like us? When I was running boats up and down the east coast in the 80s I asked a sol called consevative captain who ran a big SF why his wealthy conservative boat owner from up there would support him? Because he was able to bring so much big washington money to his district! Enougher sell out wealthy conservative that got rich off taxpayer dollars! supporting a super liberal fat *******! Should I tell you how I really feel? One of our big time local Ft ball stars had the job as a secret service protection detail back when he tried to run for president? That was around the same years that he was in palm beach with wiliam kennedy smith and his rape charge! This secret service agent told us the fat ******* would come out in the morning and jump in a pool naked and swim a few laps with the detail stuck there watching this NGSof a B!

Hopefully none of you assholes will need the kind of help that Ted gave to complete strangers in their time of need. And if you do, I hope you're met with clowns like yourselves. I know you will be... For the zero that complained about the oil relief program that Joe instituted and negotiated on his own, it simply grants a 100 gallons of heating oil per year for those in need. And it is properly managed. Among the recipients are 80+ year old WWII veterans, and 70+ year old Korean veterans, and others that have fallen on hard times.

It's amazing that all of our favorite Republican leaders kept their mouths shut and attended the funeral service, That's beacuse they have class and dignity. They will have things to say about Teddy from time to time now that the funeral is over.

Oh teddy was so kind spending other peoples money? He was from a rich boston family that thought they were above the law and above even moral rules that most normal people live by.He threw crumbs like what you talked about to deserving people to look good with money that was not his! Get a life A hole! And I will pray that I never see his grave site when I walk thru Arlington again! A resting place for heroes not for a trust fund drunk slob who could kill someone and not pay a price?
