Some of the USPS Parcel/Letter packages took only 7-10 days to arrive, while others 3-5 weeks.

We had a failure in our communication about the dictionary, I though you were going to ship it via USPS (it would cost $10 or less)

I'm not asking for help this time, I'm only frustrated since I want to go fishing bad.
Hi Jer- The shipping was my fault. I just didn't realize how much Fed Ex charged until it was too late and already packed and labeled. The shipping was 70.00- When they told me that price, i just said "Holy Shit" ....well just send it anyway! I still have the money in Pay Pal for a rod- just let me know if you find something that you want.

I need to change the title of this thread to "Poor Proheat"
$70 is a truckload of money

I love my dictionary. I like even to smell it

I don't need a surf fishing rod anymore. I got two already (9 feet rod that casts 0.7oz to 1.4oz and 13 feet rod that casts 4oz to 8oz). I have only 1 reel (Penn Power Graph V 4000) that I bought to use with the 9 feet rod, I have no idea if it would be good for the 13' as well.

Oh, I have also a 8 feet combo that looks very crappy, hehehe. I bought when I was desperate and days later I found the other 2 rods

Thank you again for everything, Proheat.

I've never paid that much for shipping. Once I had money in my paypal (brazilians couldn't withdrawl money from paypal accounts) and I wanted a George Foreman grill. It costed $60 here and I bought one in eBay for $20 + $40 shipping

    Jer,

Hang in there... I will take some time tonight and make up a few rigs and take some photo's for you. That way you'll be able to recreate them. I assume that you have access to the fishing basics where you are? Leader material, hooks and lead is what you'll need to get started. I'll try and post these up tomorrow for ya.

You need the Terp school of surf fishing:

    > 1 ICEY-TEK, 40qt
    > 30 pack natural light
    > 20 lbs of ice

    sit on beach

    Jer,
There is an outside chance that I may be coming to Sao Paulo on business in the not too distant future, if that's happens I'll let you know and I can bring most anything you need and tie up some rigs for you.

    Thank you, Chilli and MakoMike.

Mike, please let me know if you go to Sao Paulo in the future

I think I'll make a one week trip to Sao Paulo to visit my family in the first half of August so if my rigs don't arrive before I go I'll talk with my uncle and we'll go to a nice tackle shop there. He took me freshwater fishing a few times when I was a kid and I have great memories, even with the fishes being tiny

I went to a local tackle and shooting shop today but I didn't like the guy

Yes, Chilli, I have access to the fishing basics here... even some non-basic stuff

    paul,...lol
you have been hanging out at mayers way to long...

jer if you need some rigs sent to you, or a diagram of how to make them shoot me a pm and lets see if we cant get you "hooked up".

during the down time take a three way swivel and tie on a weight then take about 6 feet of leader I would think 80lb would be ok tie a hook to the end of it and send it to the deep. Bait should be what ever you kind of meat you can get a hold of.(some kind of fish...no cow or chicken)
