Where have we gone wrong, gotten all soft on the outside and simply chosen to just turn the other cheek in these modern politically correct times?
We've got a president who may or may not be a valid US citizen.
It now costs the taxpayers something like $70,000.00 to keep a man in prison.
It takes a man on death row an average of 11 years to reach his destiny!
And now, front and center on national news this a.m. is one Abdel Basset Ali, a Libyan terrorist and convicted mastermind of the Lockerbie air disaster which murdered 259 people including 189 Americans. This piece of sh*t spent only 8 years in prison and has now been released due to a prostate cancer diagnosis. Since when does that eliminate a murderers' life sentence??I mean, what happened to the days of old? Where's vigilante justice. We need a real-life Dirty Harry. Someone who will stand up for the victims rights? What about them, do we just brush all the pain under a rug and forget about it? Guess I'm just not progressing with the times. I mean, maybe this is just human evolution, the justice system is completely ass backwards, rapists and pedophiles are let out on a daily basis due to prison overcrowding and our children don't play outside anymore. They all have these fancy gadgets, sony this, and ipud that. Gameboy in one pocket and a wii in every living room. Well I can guarantee you that I will raise my son proper, he will know what it's like to have chores to do. He will "earn" his allowance. There will be no huge MTV sixteen year old birthday party at my house where P-diddy is hired and the young man gets a lambo for his birthday gift! Hell, my first car was a 1967 Camaro completely rotted out in the floorboards and sounded more like a timebomb. It cost $600.00 and I paid for it with my own hard earned money! Nothing was simply given to me, atleast back then we knew the value of a dollar!
Friends, I just don't think that this politically correct crap is working in our best interests!Am I all alone here?
If it were up to me a would have disposed of this piece of trash, once found guilty.
Andaman Andy.
Who cares if he has prostate cancer, he did not care that all of those people on the plane were innocent, had families and futures ahead of them.
His cancer ridden butt should still be sitting in a cell. But this is America today, Obama looks bad for making the deal because Megrahi was welcomed home as a hero, Libya's insult to Obama.
The US shoud have offered some pilots from Gitmo to fly him home and immediately after take off blown that jet out of the sky!
"I drink in victory because I deserve it, I drink in defeat because I need it." -- Winston Churchill
I think the piece of shiat should have been left in jail and his meds should have been cut off. He received a life sentence. Period. I don't ever recall hearing a judge read an order for a life sentence that included waivers or exceptions in the event of anything short of being found innocent on appeal.
If they wanted to show compassion, they should have offered to have the bastitch's friends and relatives locked up with him (for a fee).
Any quick means to an end is too good for human excrement like this guy. Furthermore, shooting down a perfectly good airplane isn't a good solution either. Seizing it and donating it to a Christian or Jewish organization would be a better retaliation. That would piss off those rag heads to no end.
Still, too easy of an exit. I like the thought of that piece of crap suffering it out. God gave him the "gift" of prostate cancer for a reason. Who are we to intervene? As a matter of fact, he should receive a complimentary daily kick in the nuts just to aggravate his condition.
