Unhappy PLEASE HELP - White dog lost - North of Harrington, Delaware (U.S. 13 a mile north of Delaware Avenue )

There was a car crash about 7:30 a.m. on U.S. 13 a mile north of Delaware Avenue (north of Harrington). A 79 lady died in the crash and her husband is at the hospital.

They were with their dog and it ran away. I'm attaching a picture of the dog ("Snookie").

Please help. If anyone could call shelters or help in any way to find the dog. If you can spread the message to people who live or work in the area it would be very appreciated.

$1,000 reward plus all vet bills

The name of the dog is Snookie

Please help, call John at 609-254-5573

My ex just went thru this recently when a dog she was fostering took off.

Heres a couple of suggestions for you.

Call the delaware humane society. 302 571 0111
they can give you a list of shelters etc. in the area the dog was lost.

For a fee they will call thousands of people in the area the dog was lost.
This one can work. Within minutes of signing up she got a call from them asking about the dog.

Good news is she found him a week after he took off.

    Good luck.

    Praying for you

I'm in Florida so I'm not much help. My heart is breaking for the loss your family has just experience and no words will comfort, believe me -I know from my own life. But we will pray for you all. The suggestions above are excellent and you may have already done that. additionally I would print and post 100's of 'Wanted Posters" for your dog. I know how you feel and will be praying for his safe return and your family.

May God bless you, your efforts, care for your dog while he's away, and give you peace and understanding that God needed an angel...

    Tight Lines,

    Ed

    Update on Snookie.
Guys and Gals I don't know how many of you truly know the type of man John Eppehimer is but let me tell you there is no bigger heart than his. Johns just a friend of a friend that experienced a devastating event and lost the love of his life. The family just wanted to know what had happened to snookie the beloved family pet.

We were at the Beach Haven covering the event when John got the word and reached out to the community.

Sunday I spoke to John and he told me I'm leaving for deleware, I got to know and see if I can help find this dog. He worked some sites and got the alert out and headed to DE with a handful of flyers and directions to the crash. John contacted many folks door to door, fire departments, shelters to no avail. So John started to walk the woods and fields searching in the heat for signs of the missing dog.

Late in the evening John found Snookie, Unfortunately she did not make it. John made arrangements today for snookie to be cremated and is driving to NYC for the wake, so she can be reunited with her family and buried with her fallen family member.

I just wanted to give you all a glimpse into what type of human being John is. A lot of things have been said and misunderstood over the past year. He does this with no regard to himself (hes covered in chiggers). He has a heart of gold, and hes probably pissed I even said anything. But I wanted to share this story with you all.

    THANKS TIM

    Tim,

I've only had one phone conversation with John. From that conversation, I will say that I am not surprised by what he did. I would say that many on here (including myself, before that conversation) don't know a thing about John, no history, no family, no nothing. I was under the assuption that he was just another "suit" out there, that figured out how to make a buck off the rest of us. Until proven differently, I will have to admit my assumption was way off! Really not suprised at all. Frank
