    pinas bay,tropic star lodge

    we had the boat in pinas bay last july with our mothership for six weeks.here are some pics.we got a blue one about 600lbs.,a black about 450lbs.,tons of sailfish,cubera snapper,YFT and trevally.

    Thanks for posting all of these! It really puts the fish in perspective when you lie down next to them. Was that a cubera snapper in the wooden boat? That looked like it was pretty big. You can catch those on poppers and spinning tackle, right? I'll probably never make it to that part of the world, but I love to dream about it. Keep up the posts, they're nice to look at while it's 40 degrees outside.

    that cubera was 50lbs give or take,I gave it to the locals.we were bump trolling blue runners around the islands to get the cu beras.30 lb.spinning tackle.
