For those who don't know me or where I'm from here's a little photo tour from this past summer.

Eastern Point Light at the entrance of Gloucester harbor:


Commercial fishing has been the major industry in Gloucester since 1623:


Lobstering from boats small & large is big buisness:




The Navy comes to visit several times during the summer. USS The Sullivans below is skippered by a Gloucester native!


Last weekend in June is the St. Peter's Fiesta the "Greasy Pole" is one of the on water events. Walk the 45' pole and grab the flag on the end:








Tourist are treated for a sail on the schooner "Thomas E. Lannon":


Labor Day weekend is the Gloucester Schooner Festival:
