Phishing - not fishing - emails
I am really tired of people trying to get over on others online. I got a phishing email to related to ebay and forwarded it to ebay with the details at spoof@ebay.com. But today I took it a step farther.
How to get details in Outlook: Open the email and click the VIEW tab.
Then select OPTIONS
You will see a section called INTERNET HEADERS
In there you can pull out the originators IP address and search it at http://aruljohn.com/track.pl
This will tell you were it came from and give you links to their internet provider to report them. When you report them, copy and past the info out of the INTERNET HEADERS so they can track them.
It made me feel better today, maybe it will help you?
Anyway, my guy/gal ended up being from Toronto, Canada.
