benefits you say...there is no such thing as a benefit...less from the government...if you work, then you are paying for everything you get...so, the so called benefits are non existent they are payed for services....then again that is if you have work for a living....

I'm not so sure it was or wasn't. Gringo is a stand up guy, and I am almost certain he would be the last to cry for help.
Friend or no friend, there is one thing about most is this Country: if you leave it for a better life, more power to you, but you are no longer one of our own--- at least when you decide to incinuate that another place is better than the USA .

pulled my driving record today. local po po has issued me 8 seatbelt violations in 14 stops. been stopped 3 times for "no tag light" with no violations or work orders. pulled once for 37in a 35.

got real pissed on the last stop and told the officer that the only reason that he pulled me was because he knew that I'd pay the $25 ticket with little hassle, he wouldn't have to go to court...but if he busted the boy in the big white t shirt standing on the corner two blocks up he'd have to deal with the 7 grams of evidence in his pocket, haul him to jail, and fill out some paper work. Way too much work for him.

Stop went downhill from there.


Thinking about asking the local judge for a restraining order from the local police...

By the way...Pocomoke City MD police now have the ability to stop motorist on RT 13 to the VA line. Be careful. You have been warned...

I like gringo's posts and blog, but gotta say on this one that I'd be glad if the cops woke me up. Of course I live in Mayberry, so it's totally different than most places in the US of Offended, but when I go outta town, I call the chief and he sends a on-duty over three times a day to check my shop and house. And yes, they get out of the car and physically check the door knobs. They, and my neighbors, know what my mother, father and brother drive, know that my neighbor likes to come over and drink my beer in the shop fridge lookin' at the sunset while I'm gone. My neighbors also swear there's an increase in police traffic on our road when they're keeping an eye out...

So overall, I'm all for the police keeping up with what's going on at my house, but in a small town, my situation is different than most.

Kudos to Gringo for thinking it sucks and doing something about it though...if more stood up for what they believed might be a hell of a different country...if you don't love it, leave it, but that's a two way street.
