    Angry Paypal Resolution

Well it has happened two times in two months. Fedex/UPS has lost something that I have purchased from folks on this site. Once for sure because we had tracking, not sure about the other. Not really the fault of the shipper and defintely not blaming SF.com

I have worked out both situations.......BUT

Couldn't get a return call from either vendor...UNTIL...I filed a claim on the resolution center. Folks seem to be really quick to send invoices, but when it comes to handling issues......crickets.

"I FEEL" if you are going to come one here and sell something, then I am going to buy it at some point to support the folks that support the site. I can get everything on here from my local guys, but I choose to do some shopping here, especially if its a deal.

And.....if there are issues you should deal with them immediately. If someone calls you or PM's you....Fucking Deal with it! Instead of leaving them hang out there for weeks or months.

I have never had customer service issues with online purchases until now....thank goodness for Paypal or I would be out about $250.

SO......THERE I SAID IT. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW.

I use priority mail and have only had four or five packages out of the last 13,000+ go missing. A few more have been misplaced or broken into and items removed but I would say that seems to be by far the most reliable. We used to have almost a quarter of ups stuff go missing. Funny how that changed when I stopped putting my company name (Compleat Angler Marine Supply) on it... I always recommend Paypal to my customers for the protection and paper trail...

Thanks for the comeback there Deep.

"I just feel" if vendors are going to use this site to do a little business they should be willing to give Better Service and Good Quality at a Fair Price. Yes on here vendors should be held to a HIGHER STANDARD.

When I buy off here...I'm not buying off some faceless ebay person somewhere out there. I would like to think that I'm buying from a friend.

Yes, problems are going to happen.....thats the nature of it. But not returning calls or emails, until I have to do something as drastic as filing against them, is rediculous.

If your a VENDOR ON SF and your treating your customers like this you should be ashamed of yourself.

Always us Paypal. Nothing better out there! I agree, UPS is the worst when it comes to losing packages. And they have no answer...

When I get rocking with lures on ebay there are times I'm doing three hundred or more pieces a week. I take time to address each and every email etc. That is just professional common courtesy. Right now I'm doing some restructuring of my lure business and finding new makers for my product. Production has been painfully slow and my charter schedule is busy to the point that just getting to the PO is tough... If I run ito problems I try to let my customers know... And certainly respond when they ask...

    HMMMMM!!!

I got a call from my wife today and said that my lures that I ordered from DeepC back on October 13, 2005 finally arrived today!

Must have been sent on horseback!

    Can't wait to fish them.

We did communicate along the way... You needed special stuff that will catch fish and not fishermen... and we havn't had the weather to pour resin... Can't be over 85% humidity or drop below 64 degrees...

    Bite...
I pulled the lure stuff off until I get this local factory actually producing and find a new comany to build my designs in bulk. The hurricanes of 2004 wiped my one factory out and the one shortly after proheats order this year squashed the one we were trying to get usable. I've had to make in the garage and we have no climate control out there...

    Proheat,
those were last year's lures! Doubt they'll work right this year. Deep just did not want competition last fall.
Are you on a wireless connection, or have you guys settled for the night somewhere?
