Imagine that The almighty Rev Jackson wants to denut Obama for his continuing statements and "talking down to black people"saying in a recent Father's Day speech at a black church, Obama took absent black fathers to task, saying, "We need them to realize that what makes you a man is not the ability to have a child -- it's the courage to raise one." Apparently the Rev Jackson thinks there are much more important issues at stake such as "The black community is faced with high levels of unemployment, home foreclosures and violence, "so we have some real serious issues -- not just moral issues," he said. One would think that if some Fathers both Black and White took the time necessary to raise their children with both discipline and education then most of the issues Rev Jackson is concerned with would solve themselves. For example a better education leads not only to jobs but better jobs and being able to pay the mortgage as well as having the education to realize that just because someone says you can afford a $250,000 note on 40k a year doesnt mean you really can. Better discipline leads to better behaviour and controlling your own actions hence less violence. I am by no means a proponent for Obama, I mean I can think of several other reasons he should be denutted imho. But I think Jackson is becoming as bad as Farakhan, I think both of them should do the Black community a favor and stay the hell out of the public eye.
