Im glad i made the right decision. So im fishing in the ches. bay for rock and a boat comes flying at me and all i can think is , another damn boat right on top of me. Then a shout, hey im out of gas. So i think to myself about helping, and the guy is 15-20 miles from his port. so i told him im fishing and there is no way i can tow him 15 miles. So after 10 minutes i pull the lines and decide to help the guy out. Thankfully i did. The guy was about to jump overbaord a swim 5 miles to shore. and now he tells me he has a prostetic leg, which makes me feel like a real dipshit if this guy would have tried to swim in and dround. I just wanted to bring this up because after thinking about not taking him in, i thought that if that was me i would want the same. I understand that it is not the easiest thing to do a good deed, but as fisherman out on the water i think we all can lend a helping hand out there. i hope this never happens to anyone, bu tif it does maybe you wont think twice and just do the right thing.

they'll bring out fuel, (for a price) or could have towed the guy back to port, also for a price.
but I wonder how someone can go out on the water and run outa' fuel
