    OUPV Paperwork

well I been draggin my feet putting all the PW together. I was going to get Mark Grosseti to look it over and submit it but I don't think he likes to deal over the phone. I called his # and it refers you to the website and says not to expect a call back. I had a few questions so I could make sure I had it as right as "I" could get it before it sent it off to him. It's hard trying to do this by e mail. the last e mail I sent I got a generic reply that didnt answer my original questions. i'm sure he is very busy but I would like to at least spaek to someone before I send this book of paperwork off. can anyone recommend someone else that does this?

Grosseti did mine and was very easy to deal with. How he works is sorta wierd to us but i understand it now. There is so much detail involed in the paper work. It seems he much rather just have you send it in and he will send back to you any changes. I imagine he does it this way to save hundreds of hours on the phone or email since it is very involed.

I sent mine in and got it back really quick with some problems. I fixed them and sent it back and he handled it from there. Was very easy.

But i have a question ? Is this service still ok to use ? I thought you had to go there and do it yourself ? Or does grosseti now review it and send it back so you can submitt it ? Or can he still do the whole process ?

You have to go inperson to get sworn in, not to submit the paperwork. Gorsetti an still do it for you, but you still have to put in a personal appearance. IMHO if you just dot the I's and cross the Ts its just as easy to do it yourself. OTOH I deal with government paperworl all the time, your mileage may vary.

Mark G also did mine and was very helpful all the way through the process! He answered every email I sent to him & it was quit a few!
John is right! Just send it to him & he'll look it over and let you know if anything has to be changed.

    John,
As far as I know he still helps out with the paperwork. But like you mentioned you have to submit it yourself in person now!

I think the paperwork was the hardest part of the whole process. I didn't use anyone but took my time filling everything out. I submitted everything last week in Balitmore.

Word of warning, the office is closed on Friday's! I called prior to leaving and the recording wasn't working that played their office hours. Needless to say I had to make a second trip!

The guy who runs R&D Supply in Cambridge does the paperwork review
I have never used him, but I do know he offers the service
    www.rdboat.com
They are on Washington St just before Kool Ice

FYI, besides being closed on Fridays, the service center in Baltimore is backed up.
I put in for my renewal in mid March and received my papers back at the end of June.
Hopefully you will get turned around a little faster

Yes , mark can still do the pw but i think you have to be there in person to do the fingerprinting, oath, etc.
