O.C. Police Say 3 More Children's Bodies Found

OCEAN CITY (AP) - Ocean City police say they have found the bodies of three children at the home of a mother who was charged last week with the murder of a small infant.

Investigators resumed their search Monday morning at the home of a mother charged with killing her unborn child, Ocean City police said.


About a dozen searchers were expected to continue digging around the home and in the adjacent lot on Monday, Ocean City police Pfc. Barry Neeb said.

Police would not comment on what investigators were searching for, but said they have asked the FBI's Evidence Response Team to assist in collecting evidence because of the size and the complexity of the crime scene.

"We've got the FBI's evidence team down here helping us with evidence work, they're going to be searching for stuff in the yard," Sgt. Doug Collier said on Sunday.

"Investigators have still not completed their search of the property. They are still actively searching for additional evidence in this case," police said in a statement issued Sunday.

Christy Freeman, 37, lived in the apartment with her boyfriend and her four other children.

Freeman was hospitalized Thursday and police were called after medical personnel determined she had been pregnant, but the child was missing. Police said they obtained a search warrant for Freeman's home after interviewing her, and a small infant was found wrapped in a blanket in the apartment.

Freeman was later charged with first degree murder, second degree murder and manslaughter after investigators conferred with Worcester County State's Attorney Joel Todd.

Freeman had an initial appearance Friday evening before a District Court Commissioner. She was transferred from police headquarters to District Court in Snow Hill for a bond review hearing expected Monday morning, Neeb said.

Some how the wheels came off big time in that womans life. Wonder what go's through your mind at a time like that, and god bless the little ones, they just trusted..... this has upset me now sorry

You are right it is vary sad,. My 1st reaction to thiswas outrage and anger.
A couple hours later, I just don't know. Saying prayers for inocents born and unborn.

My sentiments exactly!!
All towns have problems like this and is horrible news, but with OC being a resort town, it can't help its exposure.
