    Here in Jersey it is illegal to train with a live burn. We get hundreds of people looking to drop off thier expired flares at the FH. We will accept Them as a courtesy, however, We do not use Them. We take Them to the landfill on "amnesty day" which is a couple of times a year when They accept such items, batteries, paint, tires ect.

    yeah, when I was in, we would accept them for training purposes but I think they stopped, at least up here....oh well, guess I'll just keep storing them in that .50 cal ammo box....

    get far enough offshore, make a radio call and inform everyone you are testing expired signaling devices. we shoot shit off when ever it passes expiration date
