Ouch... Nice teak sure does look great, but it is a full time job keeping it that way - especially in Fla... Sure beats the weather up here though

I understand waterlox has a marine product that will take care of that teak a whole lot easier than the traditional way. If it starts to look bad all you have to do is clean a little and put another coat on. I have not tried it but the first time I get a chance to use it I will. My son replaced our teak with Plasteak. We have had it on for four years and had to replace a few pieces that were replaced by the factory free. I stil want to try the marine Waterlox product. I think it would be great. No I am not a dealer.

if this is the covering boards, and it has some mold on em take care of it. wide and pretty is gettin $$$$$$$ pricey. between $30.00 and $40.00/ bd ft do you have some type of cover ? if so lose it. you gotta clean em with a good brush, medium to hard bristles and some AJAX and plenty of elbow grease. keep scrubbin keep the wood wet and dont get anything on the paint. then by some teak cleaner and do it again. then a lite coat of oil cut with some mineral spirits so it will absorb better. then 5 or 6 more coats. keep drinkin beer as you do this.
