I vote for drilling offshore- anything to get rid of those money hungry OPEC arabs. Put our own americans back to work right here on our own soil and be self supporting instead of depending on foriegn countries!

Atleast we wouldn't have all our eggs in one basket like we do now in the gulf of mex.

Those offshore rigs are like the best ever to fish next to.

With productive wells spread across the Coast a hurricane wouldn't knoct out as big a percentage of our production.

Man, this is a no brainer.

in delaware, we already have a refinery in place and operating. It was getty, motiva, now valero. More states should build refineries along our coasts owned by americans.......

No doubt about it. They have proven to be environmentally friendly and get off of
Opec's ***** list

I see that there are now two against offshore drilling. Just wonder if those two would say why they are against drilling. Not to bash you, just to find out your reasoning. Everyone has an opinion.

You first need updated or new refineries that can handle the added oil production. Until we can get the gov. to support renewable and sustainable energy, offshore drilling is a great bridge that would give the US an economic boost.
