OCMD This Weekend

Any action in OCMD? Ill be down Thursday night till late Sunday with a buddy of mine. Odds are if I listen to him we will be strictly operating the fishing grounds known as Secrets. But a change of scenery never hurt. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them

Yeah, wrecks & bluefish are about it off OCMD. Some cold water has pushed in over the last two to three weeks.

I'll be down, and am gonna head east. Does anyone know if the blues are at the Jackspot yet?

Not much happening around... Some flounders in the bay, still a few tog on the wrecks, still not many seabass. Monty hasn't even been catching many, and I talked to a few commercial guys who have pots out and they say the few they've been catching have been pretty small with the majority of them comming from deeper spots. Talked to Mark Hoos Jr. from the Marli who fished on the Playmate last week for Bluefish around the Jackspot and said it was REAL slow with not many fish around, he said another boat nearby caught three.

Still no sharks to speak of, but not many people are going fishing yet so its hard to get reliable reports. Best bet I'd say would be the tog on the wrecks, Russel's reef and Bass grounds have been pretty good.

Thanks. I'd hate to run 20 miles if nothin's happenin. Pity. I was looking forward to sharkin on Sunday, and could use some blues for bait.

I'll be in town saturday eve, suppose to fish wth Bob on "BOHICA" on sunday and just might try the surf on AI too

Ahhhh week late...A few of us are prob coming down for the weekend of the 31st for our annual orange crush run
