Ocean Waves Sunglasses

Just a quick note about an outstanding service experience I had with a pair of my Ocean Wave sunglasses. I wear prescription sunglasses and have a few pairs including some Costas and a couple of Ocean Waves.

I have used my Ocean Waves Chicago model for over 7 years. One of the hinges gave way a couple months ago during a boat ride to FLA. Last week I figured I would send them back to OW to get an estimate to replace the frames. OW received them in FLA on Friday morning and guess what showed up at the office here in MD just after lunch on Monday?? The best part - no charge for the new frames or labor. Just a few bucks for the return shipping. Pretty damn cool.

I actually would love to check those out. I got a great note from them when I had warranty issues elsewhere, but they aren't carried very many places for me to try on to to see what model i would like.

You might want to try contacting Shark Tested Products out of NJ. www.sharktested.com

I purchased my Ocean Waves from them. They are at a lot of the boat shows and are very helpful. When I was trying to decide on my first pair of OW I had a bunch of different sample models sent to me to try out. I can't remember if it was Shark Tested or OW themselves that loaned them out but it worked real well.

I bought the Ocean Waves Havanas 3 years ago and 2 months after I bought them the frames warped and 1 of the lenses popped out and they refused to do anything for me.
