OC Banquet centers

Can you guys give me some ideas of places to check with for a banquet in January. I know January is not the best time for Ocean City and a lot of places seem to even be closed for the season, but I will be doing another SIKA deer hunt at Assateague this year for folks with disabilities and would like to have a big benefit banquet the night before the hunt.

PS hope to see some of you at the dinner once that times comes. Also if you know anyone who is disabled and may be interested in the hunt let me know. We will also be looking for volunteers to help with the hunt.

I don't know many of the options, but I know some of the fishing tournaments have had their awards banquets at the Clarion. I also don't know if the OC Marlin Club does that sort of thing for non-member organizations, but it may be worth looking into.

The Marlin Club can only be rented by members. There was a time that a member could sponsor an event for a non member, but that rule has changed.
(I am on the board of directors at the club)

I beleive that Harrison's Harborwatch at the inlet can be rented (I know the Ducks Unlimited Dinner is there).

I think the bigger hotels all have banquet rooms/facilities.

There's a hall on 529 heading to Ocean Pine. I just past the race track. I can't remember the name but it's a nice palce.

The hall on 589 was, key word was, Occasionally Yours Catering. It is now the Steer Inn Tavern.

Hopefully when we get a banquet set some of you can come on out and see what our organization is all about(what else do you have to do in mid January on a Sunday)

I'm pretty-sure Halls Restaurant and Lounge on 60th st does banquets, at least they do for our yearly OC Reef Foundation dinners. goto => www.halls-oc.com
