Obama has had a pretty good run lately

I got into a political discussion last night that was kind of interesting. A pal of mine who describes himself as
"hard right rudder" admitted that the a 50% increase in the stock market (8000 to 12000) during his term is fairly impressive. I almost fainted as this guy still thinks he's a muslim from Kenya.

So this morning's news that we've finally added a few jobs and nearly 1/3 of the people who lost their jobs in the Bush Recession are now back to work, was most welcome.

I'd offer that all the rhetoric that he has been a terrible president is unfounded.

When those word's fell out of her mouth, the first thing I thought was "how about pay for them yourself or maybe the father of 10 of your kid's"????? Are you soooooooooo stupid, that you haven't figured out what causes you to have a them babies?????? That is the most typical statement made today, by all races, "somebody else need's to pay for MY stupidity"! The fact of the matter is that WE are at fault for doing just as they request. Many farm family's around these part's (black and white) had 12-13 kid's, a generation or so back. I don't remember anyone standing on the corner and demanding someone else to come along and raise the kid's. WE are the idiot's, to keep feeding this scenerio. Frank

Well, There's the difference - Kids in big farm families were expected to work - or they didn't eat...

I would have no issue with Welfare if we expected welfare recipients to work to "earn" welfare - There are plenty of public schools that need to be swept out, and many court houses that need trash emptied...

There may have been some minor improvements in unemployment stats, but in general, the workers are worse off now than before the recession - Management in large corporations has taken the opportunity to cut worker benefits and compensation with the excuse "times are tight - you have to do your part to help reduce expenses" - That means I'm taking it in the shorts and the CEO is getting filthy rich...

If you getting a pretty good check for all your 15 dependents, where's the money going to? The President is mulatto. The thread started off with a post that was positive towards him. The immediately following post was video of a welfare queen. When challenged by me for the racist turn of this thread...DIRECTED AT OBAMA...some suggested that whites are just as guilty.

So, why was there not a video of white trash posted, instead, or in addition to that of the black woman with what even I would concede are incredible powers of procreation?

Because Obama's half black and the woman in the video is, apparently, mostly black and you guys intended to belittle the President for his race and to sidestep discussing the points that the originator of the thread raised about Obama's accomplishments. That's why.
