I don't want to get into the Catfish - Fishdad dispute other than to say that NYBH is as level-headed as ever in his recommendations.

That said, I'd like to address the question of what the "F**k does it matter?". But first of all I want to say that it doesn't matter to me.

But it seems to matter to a whole lot of folks in America. That's particularly true of the what are now known as the Tea Bagging Republicans. I never see a single ethnic of any type in the videos of their rallys and I have my own experience with them.

I went to the Post Office the other day, parked and went inside to mail some life insurance policies to customers (yes, I write life and health). When I came out I was confronted with an angry crowd shouting at one another and a bunch of other citizens milling around on their cell phones. Those wielding cell phones were either calling the cops or taking videos or photos of what was going on.

A younger Gentleman was standing alone with signs and pictures behind him but surrounded by at least three and maybe more older gentlemen who were shouting at him. The younger guy had on a banana republic hat with tea bags hanging off of it and the signs depicted Obama in the, well, most unflattering scenes. In two of them he was being lynched by KKK'men. In two others he was a monkey or a gorilla, respectively. One was a reproduction of a cartoon that appeared in a newspaper somewhere on the East Coast, I think NYC, where two cops shot a chimpanzee or gorilla dead. The picture labeled the chim or 'rilla as Obama.

I was with my 16 year old son. I didn't want him to see the unseamly side of Republicans in America. So, I just bundled him in the car and we took off from one side of the Post Office. The cops were already entering the other side.

So, it seems to matter a very great deal to some folks. And, I wanted to know if it mattered to you guys. If so, I wanted to know how and why.

At 58, the Democratic/Republican pendulum has swung back and forth a few times in my life...the only time I can remember things being really good, was when Ronnie Reagan was in, "trickle down" was alive and well, but then I think there's those that will dispute that....now we have a black pendulum and next perhaps a female one...but I think by life's end I'll still rather go to the graveyard and dig Ronnie up for the award.....

You certainly should recall where the Democratic campaign worker/operative was caught breaking windows in their campaign office and they immediately blamed the Republicans. There are people on both sides of the aisle with shit for brains, you can't allow the minority to dominate opinion. Correctly put "unseamly side", but of which, if any party.
