    Oahu - Northshore

I'm going to the northshore for a week at the end of May. Never been before. Any advice on what I shouldn't miss?

I lived in Halewia for almost 10 years and miss it everyday. As for things to checkout, the surf that time of the year will be small which will make snorkeling nice at Waimea and definitly go to Waimae Falls park,The Polyneisian Cultural center they do the best Luau, the Dole Pineapple factory is not to bad Hanauma bay is also great snorkeling,go to the old coffee mill in Waialua our friends own a small store there(tell them Karen&Steve Spear and RJ said hi) also in Waikiki after 6 pm at Kuhio beach and checkout the DUKE statue and they have a free hula and ukelele show there at sunset.Back at the North Shore as you go through Halewia before you get to the Rainbow bridge take a left and go to the beach park and boat basin.Get a AOKI'S SHAVE ICE in Halewia,a Kuaina burger,Ted's bakery and get a chocalate haupia pie.Man know i'm really depressed thinking about that place.
Be careful with your rental car because some small kine Hawaiian borrowing will go on,but if you want to just chill all the beaches on the NorthShore are awesome.Feel free to PM me because i will think of more things i'm sure.
