Up until the day before the Horizon blew up in the Gulf, how many people remember all the discussions there were about needing to open up drilling access on the east coast? Its along the same lines, the media is trying to justify their jobs and put their spin on it.

BTW the gov gave out its first permit to drill in the Gulf about 2 weeks ago. 6500ft of water. If you trace your way back through all of it, the lease is part owned by BP

And we all know they're going to hit oil long before the drill touches the bottom.......

Now they are talking about burying the plants to contain the radiation. Im no Einstein, but if burying them is the safest way to resolve an emergency issue, why not BUILD THE DAMN THINGS UNDERGROUND FROM THE BEGINNING? If we can put a man on the moon, we can figure a safe way to construct them...

Oh yeah, and don't build them in Earthquake zones.... DUH.
