The week started off with the Missus basking in the glory of capturing her first blue marlin on a work get away to Mexico...
Then the mail comes today... Letter from IGFA? Addressed to Mini Deep?

She opens it up... Inside is an invite to attend a day of free seminars and fishing classes... With guys like Sosin, Stu Apte, Roland Martin, Billy Pate and more teaching them. Then the invite continues to the evening for the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies for Rubin Jaen, Joan Wulff, Peter Wright, and Gary Loomis!
Then the next day spend it with Guy Harvey, watching the unveiling of "Sharkwater" exhibit, and listening to more speakers...

That does it! They have free land being offered up in Kansas and I'm sbject to taking them up on it and start growing soy beans or beets or turnips or whatever else they grow out there... I can see my collection of bent butts now covered with tumbleweeds mounted in a rocket launcher on the back of a Jihn Deere tractor dragging plows!

What size planers should I use to till the fields? I wonder if I can use J hooks to harvest yams or if I need to go circle?

I saw this and thought you finally took a bath. You use J hooks for yams, the circle hooks can't get into the ground.

Depends on the horse power of you tractor....
Oh BTW...hook up rate on the circle hooks is low, but the "wide gap shinner" hook is the heat...better than "Js"
