I can't see what you posted up. I'm assuming it must show salmonella incidences by state and NJ is one of those? If so, that just means that there was at least one incidence of salmonella sickness in that state. It does not mean that state GREW the tomatoes. Hell, the FDA has no idea where the tomatoes came from yet....they only know where they DIDN'T come from because those areas were not producing tomatoes at the time of the outbreak. Also, the FDA warning above is not the most recent...they have since added several counties in Florida and Virginia to the list of "ok" growing areas.

In another 2 weeks, I won't have to worry about it. My tomato plants look better this year, than they have in the last 10. They are completely loaded and I'm just waiting for them to turn. I think it has to do with the lack of rain, but daily watering on the bases. I didn't get any bloom rot at all it appears.

They love the hot, dry weather don't they.Some water at the right time and you can almost watch them grow.
