No more BP gas for me

You can say I'm only hurting the little guy, but I would rather push my car than ever purchase a gallon of BP branded gas ever again.

If they can totally cap it off this week. A big IF???? Then why couldn't they attempt to do it two months ago?

I also think its a shame that Obama hasn't enacted a national state of emergency.

I'm with ya, but....methinks if you don't give BP your money at the pumps...old Obama will give them your money in the form of a bailout....I fear.......

Yup - At the G20 Summit last Month, Obama and the PM of Great Britain agrees that it was "important" to keep BP strong and not bankrupt...

    Thumbs up

here in Wash DC area.....a BP franchisee took down his signage....and now an independent station......also a large sign says......

to further serve his dedicated customers he is no longer affiliated with BP/AMOCO Corp.

i might add that his station is once again packed with customers.....

Dispersing oil might be ok if you have a small spill, but not with one of this size. Check out how it contaminates the entire water column (ie fish) when added to the water. What we can't see is hurting us no doubt. I would love 5 minutes in a room with that douschebag that wants his life back.

Protest and boycotting is all well & good but just imagine if everyone boycotted BP worldwide.
Then BP no longer pays the innocents who lost their livelihoods due to the spill.
I am with ya on hating the BP corporate elite but not punishing the poor sap stuck with a franchise station, his employees and distributors.

Alot of WaWa's and 7-11 gas comes from BP also,A buddy of mine drives a tanker truck for a private carrier in Baltimore and he said that 75% of unbranded station's get it from BP now becouse they are cheaper at the terminal's.So if you want to stop giving it to BP you better start going to a branded station.I do now.

Good lord! But they actually look quite coordinated compared to the bus loads of inner city folks working our neighborhood beaches.
Now for something a bit more uplifting. A collusion of ideas from a few of us frustrated grouper / snapper guys
Jim, You ever thought of doing a squid head bottom bouncer?
With no fishing and plenty of time to tinker....
    3, 4, 5 , 6 & 8oz. Super glow white, copper fade, 200# wolverine split, 8/0 Mustad 9175, silicone skirting & glow split tail grub.
Testing a few in Tx & Fl - could work.
