No more BFT for me this year

Had an accident on the Beaufort docks Sat. night and I'm gonna be at Carteret General for knee surgery tomorrow.So needless to say, that's gonna wrap up my tuna season for this year. Gonna be about 3 months rehab time. See you all next year.

Nothing too serious.....I was getting off of my friend's boat when I slipped and my left knee landed on a dock cleat. Tore my tendon and muscle off of my knee. Gonna have surgery tomorrow in Morehead to have it all reattached. I'm in Jacksonville,NC at my mom's house all drugged up on painkillers until I get the surgery done. Probably gonna stay here a while until I can get to where I can at least walk a little. At least I'm just gonna miss the end of tuna season. The boat's going in the boatyard for a few months after tuna season anyway.

Here's to a fast recovery!......remember to do the PT gig religiously....helped me bounce back 5 years ago after a double miniscus tear in my left knee.
